Jonathan Mason is a filmmaker based in Philadelphia/New York City. He first served as Creative Director at Belladonna Productions and later co-founded Bullet Pictures through which he has developed and produced material and music supervised for domestic and international film, TV, and commercial projects.
His background in production makes Jonathan especially well-suited to understand both the creative and financial implications of bringing music to a project. Over the years, he has established a trusted network of musicians, bloggers, publishers, agencies, and record labels from whom to source music. A true fan of all genres, Jonathan is also a musician and spent many years playing in bands – particularly in the New York indie scene.
After studying film at the University of Miami, FAMU Prague, and la fémis in Paris, Jonathan earned an MFA from Columbia University and is also a produced screenwriter.
